St. Patrick's Day Weekend - March 13, 2010

Grab a shamrock and head for "O'Saugatuck' & "McDouglas" on St. Patrick's Day Weekend. Both towns turn on their Irish charm for the wearin' o' the green. Festivities begin with our annual pub crawl...a day long trolley tour of area pubs and breweries by groups of cheerful party goers.

Pets are encouraged in our St. Patty's Day Parade themed "Erin go Bark". Prizes are awarded for the best dressed dogs and there is no lack of creativity! The Historic Society and many local restaurants serve up Irish Pub specialties including corned beef, cabbage and Irish soda bread with live music and entertainment. We round out the evening with wandering minstrels dropping into area bars to serenade patrons with favorite Celtic tunes into the wee hours of the night.
